As part of the World Olivet Assembly’s global gatherings, Olivet Assembly USA together with churches from Canada held its 33rd General Assembly for North America Region in Dover, New York, from 29 to 31 October 2025. Leaders and representatives from churches, fellowships, and ministries across the United States and Canada gathered under the theme verse, “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace” (Ephesians 1:7, NIV). The event became a time of thanksgiving, reflection, and renewed dedication to the Great Commission.
The General Assembly opened on October 29 with a solemn worship service, marking the beginning of several days of prayer, discussion, and fellowship. In his opening message, OA USA General Secretary Rev. Mark Spisak reflected on Ephesians 1:1–7, emphasizing that the assembly is not only a time to report the fruits of ministry but also a time to give an honest account before God, offer thanksgiving, and seek renewal. He encouraged delegates to look toward the future with faith and vision, saying, “This is a time to reflect on what remains unfinished, to renew our hearts, and to dream new and greater dreams for God’s kingdom.”
Throughout the sessions, delegates reviewed the works of the past year, studied Scripture together, and shared insights on strengthening mission strategies across the region. Presentations and discussions focused on key areas such as evangelism, education, leadership development, and self-supporting ministries. Reports from churches and fellowships highlighted the growing reach of OA’s mission across the 50 U.S. states and over 150 cities.
During the breakout sessions, leaders discussed practical ways to sustain the momentum of the mission movement, including new initiatives such as deaconship training programs and digital evangelism projects designed to equip members for service in both local churches and the digital mission field.
The General Assembly also celebrated the 33rd Anniversary of the World Olivet Assembly (WOA) with a commemorative worship service, honoring the founding vision and enduring mission of the global church network. Delegates gave thanks for God’s faithfulness over the decades and reaffirmed their unity as one body of Christ working to advance the gospel to every nation.
On October 30, the annual Mission Conference brought together representatives from across the United States and Canada to evaluate the progress of mission efforts and to set new priorities for the upcoming year.
The evening’s praise service united all delegates in heartfelt worship, reminding them to remember the costly sacrifice of Jesus Christ and to carry His grace back to their mission fields.
As the 33rd General Assembly concluded, participants expressed deep gratitude for all that God has accomplished throughout the year. The closing service was filled with thanksgiving and prayer, as delegates renewed their commitment to proclaim the gospel and to run the race of faith with perseverance.
In a spirit of unity and hope, the Olivet Assembly USA and churches from Canada reaffirmed its mission to bring the light of the gospel to every city and community, trusting that God’s grace will continue to guide, strengthen, and unite His people for the mission ahead.
