This Labor Day weekend, the Midwest and Central regions held an online regional retreat on the Parables of the Kingdom of Heaven from Matthew 13. On these days, current members and new attendees from Ohio, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, and Wichita were present and they studied the Word of God all weekend. Several ministries and parachurches came along side to serve in the retreat.
The first lecture delivered was on the Parable of the Sower and the Parable of the weeds. The listeners shared at afterwards that they realized the importance of receiving God’s Word deeply in their hearts. After that, three more Bible studies were delivered on the Parable of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast Leaven, the Parable of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl, and the Parable of the Net. The retreat concluded with a prayer meeting.
Thank God for providing this special time for the Midwest and Central regions to delve in the Word and be filled with his grace.
