OA Churches Celebrate May as Month of Family
OA Churches and local ministries received announcements from Faith & Family Foundation, a global organization for biblical families and marriage, located in New York. The FFF released new program details and introductions that will celebrate this month of May, a month the organization has designated as a "family month."
The FFF stressed the importance of every church and mission body's wholehearted participation in the movement of building healthy families upon the biblical mandate.
The organization is actively collaborating with many OA churches and fellowships to fulfill their vision to "restore families, communities, and society to holiness through Jesus Christ." Faith and Family shared their goal and vision in the scope of the mission in North America which includes the U.S. and Canada. By continual efforts of providing nourishing programs, they wish to expand to embrace many lives in the two countries to form a godly relationship through the bibilical family.
The special programs for this family month include various "Webinars" offered for church pastors and leaders in order to help them gain profound insight on how to guide their people to a biblical family life and relationship. Resources and editorials from guest writers were also published to help people gain wisdom on family matters. Education programs and forums were also introduced for newlywed couples, especially those who are married for less than 3 years. Parenting Seminars are held via both offline and online platforms to provide guidelines how to raise children to grow in faith.
They also released guidelines to encourage churches to celebrate the anniversary of "The Day of Family Churches" in May to remind the meaning of the family church built on truth and share family fellowships within the local church.
